350g bag of frozen hand pinched Pierogi House cheddar & Potato Pierogies
In 1943 Irene Kotas, who we lovingly call babcia (Grandma) was born and raised in the mountainous region of south east Poland, where pierogies were a staple food that graced the tables of families. In 1944 Babcia emigrated to Canada to help raise her two grandchildren.
In 2015, Babcia and Jacek (the husband of Babcia’s daughter) open their first restaurant - Pierogi House - where you would always have food that was made from scratch, made by hand, just like back home in Poland. Most importantly, the pierogies had to be “done right”, meaning the taste and quality were babcia approved.
This is how the authentic pierogies made their way from Poland to our table in Kitchener, Ontario, and now to yours!

Grocery store pierogi are usually garbage. Chewy and airy. These are PHENOMINAL. Taste just like my grandma used to make. I like that it has butter and not canola oil. I ate the whole bag, put on sour cream, some bacon and scallions.
