An outstanding box filled with goodies. I loved everything; it’s a great deal.
The items still are far from expiry which is nice, except the ham was packaged over a month ago which is kinda weird but it looks fine probably due to being vacuum sealed.
Sadly, the ketchup did not seem to be sealed, so we had to throw it out :(
I expected my “box” to have a mixture of some fresh veggies and fruits, considering this business model is based on fresh and local produce with the possibility of some pantry items. In the photo attached to their “box” shows fruits, veggies and pantry items and that’s what I expected. I recognize that some items would have been near expiry, but I didn’t think already expired. Disappointed to receive a tied up plastic bag at my door, with only random pantry items such as a box of salt, pizza crust, bbq sauce, expired cookies (that weren’t frozen before exp date), a box of crackers, 1 Jarrett’s soda, honey, some salami and pepperoni sticks. I also compared prices to places like Zehrs, direct website for products and majority of the items came back cheaper than the price tags that were listed on all the items I received. Some items are good but this box definitely was not worth it at all. Would love to see fruits and veggies added in combination to the pantry items.
This was an excellent box. Everything was delicious, especially the potato salad. This was definitely a great deal. Now I know that I like maple cheddar cheese and that's what I was going to order. I also got some yummy croissants and a bag of sweet and salty peanuts.
